The largest Latino-oriented performing arts venue in the United States
When its doors reopen in 2028, the Alameda Theater will once again reflect the vibrant spirit of Latino arts and culture, offering a contemporary mix of music, theater, dance, and more.
This architectural wonder originally opened in 1949, when segregation limited access for Mexican Americans and other Latinos. Today, the Alameda Theater Conservancy is restoring this 1,100-seat venue to welcome all to the beauty and depth of Latino arts and culture.
