As a revitalized space, the Alameda will sustain itself through operating revenues, private rentals, tours, workshop fees, and tenant partnerships, with minimal reliance on ongoing fundraising.
Thanks to the City of San Antonio and Bexar County, over $25 million has already been committed to the theater’s restoration. Additional funding is anticipated through state and federal historic tax credits. The final phase of support will come from a charitable capital campaign driven by community generosity. Bringing the full vision of the new Alameda to life will need private and philanthropic investment.
